EVENTS

Only six months after its establishment the GUA organised a day conference in November 2014 at which a wide range of planning policy issues were discussed in workshops and which was attended by around 70 people from 30 community groups.

You can read the conference report here

Members of the network occasionally organise walkabouts to explore the area and its history. GUA members have participated in a Park Royal Tour, a walkabout in North Acton, a walk by the canal (from Alperton to Old Oak) and a guided tour of the Kensal Green Cemetery.

On Saturday 5th December 2015 around 50 members and contacts of the Grand Union Alliance participated in workshops and hands-on planning sessions at the Old Oak and Park Royal Charrette held at Harlesden Methodist Church. The event, funded by University College London’s Engineering Exchange and Trust for London, was organised / facilitated by JTP architects and master-planners. Read and download the Record of Activities Report and the Broadsheet.
